Cwningen Wen Ltd's founder, Elliot Smart, has been involved in IT-led change and innovation for nearly 30 years.

From his first professional IT role at the prestigious IBM Laboratories in Hursley Park, his career has involved:

• Founding and running of one of the first UK offshore software development houses, 
• More than a decade as a consultant, advisor and business leader across a wide array of industries and subjects within global systems integrators and IT outsource service providers, 
• 8 years as a senior IT leader in Upstream and Downstream Energy,
• Technology and growth advisor to SME businesses and startups, 
• More than 4 years as Executive Chairman and trustee of a youth services charity.

With this experience he has gained insight into a fundamental challenge facing leaders today:

This resulted in the elongation of projects to incorporate time to learn tools and make mistakes, leaving clients feeling taken advantage of..
